Delroy F. Lindsay Delroy Lindsay, Partner, holds a B.Sc. and a Masters degree from The University of London, United Kingdom. He co-founded Capital Partners in 2003, with the primary objective of bridging the capital needs of companies seeking access to global financial institutions. Delroy has a track record of implementing major financial, tourism and industrial projects and undertaking mergers and acquisitions and several IPOs. He was founder, Chairman and CEO of the Corporate Group of companies; starting in 1990 with initial investments USD1,000,000.00 in Corporate Merchant Bank, which grew to over USD700,000,000.00 in 1998. The investments included commercial, merchant and investment banking and insurance; hotels, radio, newspaper and industrial interests. Delroys Corporate Merchant bank, in 1991, took over the capital deficient government controlled Workers Savings and Loan Bank and between 1991 and 1996, as Chairman & CEO of the Bank, the deficit was eliminated and assets grew to over USD450,000,000.00. He also co-founded Jamaicas second daily newspaper "Jamaica Observer" and he also co-authored the book "A Policy Framework For Economic Development In Jamaica". Prior to his business ventures, Delroy worked in the public sector as a Foreign Service officer, First Secretary to the Court of St. Jamess and as Director of Research and Planning in the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. In 1986, he was appointed Executive Director of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica, an organization he later led (1992-4), as its youngest President. In 1990, he was a member of Prime Minister Michael Manleys private/public sector delegation to meet with President George Bush to discuss regional economic and trade issues. Cameron Clifton Cameron is currently a director and shareholder of Manufacturers Sigma Merchant Bank, the largest merchant bank in Jamaica managing assets in excess of USD 600 million. Prior to this he founded and served as the Chairman of Manufacturers Merchant Bank (MMB). In 2001, this bank was merged with fund manager Sigma Investments Ltd and renamed Manufacturers Sigma Merchant Bank. Most recently, Clifton co-founded Capital Partners with the primary objective of bridging the capital needs of companies seeking access to global financial capital. Cliftons business career includes major investments and management in a wide range of industries, including, Manufacturing, Tourism, Real Estate Development, Banking & Financial Services, Information Technology and Agriculture. In addition to his business ventures, Clifton held several voluntary positions in the private and public sectors, including: President of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ), Chairman of the National Investment Bank of Jamaica (1991-1994), Chairman of Petrojam, Jamaicas state owned oil refining and marketing company; and Director of the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica, Petrojams investment holding company (1990-1993). As chairman of MMB, he gained extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial restructuring and private placements. His public sector responsibilities gave him invaluable experience in divesting public entities and International Energy business.
